In your catysis, include an buttessment of the good things that you and your partner still have going for your relationship. Ask your partner to do the same catysis of the situation.
Agree with your partner to set aside some time to discuss your situation. Compare your individual catyses and discuss the details of your individual buttessments. Remain objective while doing this and avoid emotional outbursts and confrontations.
Find solutions to the problems and agree on changes that have to be made. Be supportive of each other. Both parties may need to sacrifice or give up some things he/she has been used to. Be generous to each other.
Arrive at your individual resolutions and compatible solutions to common problems. Understand what each one is going through and maintain support for each other as changes and improvements are being made.
The best you can do to save a bad relationship is to face it with your partner. One partner cannot do it alone. It takes two to make or unmake any relationship or there is no relationship at all.

if you jumped it and it started it wasn’t your starter but your battery was dead, why your battery was dead is probably because it’s old or your alternator has quit charging it.
could be 1 of 4 problems. 1st bad connection to battery, remove battery terminals and clean with wire brush or battery terminal cleaning tool. 2nd bad alternator especially if you have daytime driving lights this will run your battery down quickly when alternator goes bad. 3rd bad battery needs to be load tested at parts house. and 4th if its none of the others are bad have the starter tested most parts houses will do this if you remove it and bring it in.
You did not indicate whether or not it clicked when you attempted to start after pumping gas. Here’s a systematic approach to determine where the problem lies.
1. Go out to your car and attempt to start it, listen to hear if it clicks.
2. If it clicks, you can narrow it down to two things
a. battery could be weak, or a weak connection
1 have battery loaded tested ( walmart will do this for free)
2 have alternator load tested (most auto parts shops will do for free)
b. Starter motor brushes are gone.(auto parts store will check for free)
3 If it does not click
a On Toyotas / Saabs check the main relay on the firewall
b.Check battery connection
c Check battery charge (walmart)
If you follow this process, you will know exactly whats wrong with it within 45 minutes.
Your battery likely needs replacing, especially if it’s over 4 years old. Also loosen the battery cable connections and rotate the connectors back and forth to restore a good electrical connection before retightening the cable clamps. You say you checked your battery, but unless you did a load test on it or other standard battery test, it really needs to be checked thoroughly by driving to your local auto parts store or repair shop and having them do a battery and charging system check. You can’t tell a battery is good by looking at it, and the fact that your lights and radio work means nothing since it takes about 1,000 times as much battery power to start a car as run a car radio.
Could be the started, solenoid, or the battery.
It also could be the alternator.
Test the battery and see if it is good. Or try and jump start the car and see if it starts. If it starts it is the battery and still maybe the alternator.
At that point drive to an auto parts store and have them test the alternator. DON”T TURN OFF THE CAR WHEN YOU GO IN.
If it test ok just get a new battery. If not get a battery and a new alternator.
if you can’t get it to start with a jump or replacing the battery replace the starter and solenoid as the same time.
That should fix it.
