i had the same problem in my 88 comanche and u need to sea foam it, it helps so much my truck doesnt sound? bad at all anymore and the diesel sound is lifters and valves

me too my 88 mj is making a noise like a diesel engine…except the noise is coming from the manifold area…idk…im about to put a? newer engine from the junkyard in it, if i cant fix it this time
