Should A Relationship Work Between 2 Males In Different States?

There’s a guy at school I am getting close to but I don’t want to get to close as he is moving like by June 7th to Texas and right now were in Kansas. Do you think a Kansas Texas relationship could work while were in college? I would like some feedback as I don’t want to get with someone for a month then its over.
